Wine Australia: Masterclass Host, 2009
I was selected by Wines of Australia to host a Master Class for a group of top London wine buyers and sommeliers. The group was lead through the Rieslings of the Clare and Eden Valleys and the Pinot Noirs of the Yarra and Mornington Peninsula. The seminar was followed by a tasting and food and wine matching exercise which was covered in depth by Imbibe magazine who will be publishing a dedicated article, with tasting notes, this January.

The Vancouver International Wine Festival is Canada’s premier wine industry event and one of the biggest wine events in the world, catering to both consumers and trade professionals. It features wine tastings and pairings, gourmet dinners and luncheons, educational seminars and culinary competitions.
Steamroller Restaurant Group: Fine Wine Consultant/Educator, 2003-2005
The Steamroller restaurant group was comprised of the Japanese/ Italian inspired Shumi on St. James and the Hush Restaurant/Brasserie & Le Cave Fine Wine Boutique, which are located in Mayfair. My roles included hosting themed tastings and dinners in the wine store/ private room La Cave as well as organizing staff education and training programs at the various outlets.
Richard Corrigan @ Lindsay House: Head Sommelier & Wine Buyer, 2002-2003
Located in the heart of Soho, the Michelin starred Lindsay House was the flagship restaurant of celebrated Irish chef Richard Corrigan. My role included purchasing all wine & beverages for the this busy Soho restaurant in addition to hiring and training a team of sommeliers and bar staff and maintaining the 700 bin list.
